When it's cold it seems to have more of an effect than now. Cold and high winds seem to stack the majority of the deer into nooks and crannies out of the wind.
Now? I see spikes in movement on my cams. I picked up on that last year. I'm not sure why. Windy days I had more daytime buck movement. Days you could see the wind in the pics. It was also in a pretty thick bottom.
Biggest factor as was mentioned is shooting in it. Tree swaying and arrow drift can make it tough. Fletchings and fixed blade heads are wind sails causing arrows to drift significantly in a good crosswind.
