I think I already know the answer to this, but how windy does it have to be to let down your guard on scent? There's a stand I want to sit tonight but the wind direction is wrong. However, it's very windy and going to get more gusty tonight. Is there a certain point the wind is strong enough that it disperses your scent quick enough the deer can't smell it? Or is that a pipe dream?

Re: Your Scent in High Wind Conditions?
I can remember in Iowa one time an ATV going thru the woods where deer bedded and kicking up all the deer. I crouched down and got ready. It was very windy and deer where flying past and some were hitting my wind stream full tilt and spinning immediately and turning direction. Wrong wind, is wrong wind... However, you may be able to get high enough in strong wind to blow over them. But its a gamble.

That's what I thought. I can sit in another location. Thanks Dan.
