Lost my milkweed for the year

Unread postby Billyjack » Thu Oct 19, 2017 7:32 am

So I headed out Saturday for opening day excited to get in the woods... I get about 3 miles from my hunting spot and realize that I forgot my release..

Sunday I make sure I have everything I need.. get into the tree and the bottom falls out..so I put on my poncho and wait for the rain to stop and it did.. didn’t see anything but ends up being a nice evening sit..

I get home, empty my pockets and find that I had a hole in my cargo pocket, my container of milk weed for the year was gone...

Not complaining tho..it was still great to be in the woods...

 Thanks for the story! Sorry about your milkweed...that sucks. Thistle and Cotton balls will work just fine. Just make sure they're small enough pieces to fly well.

I always have a problem leaving it in my pockets and my wife picks up my dirty clothes and runs it through the washer. I have done prob 3 times already
