You should have a "Snipping Tool". Just type it in the search box when you hit your start button and it should come up. This tool works great.

You cannot invade mainland America. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass.

Generally on a laptop, you have to hit function(fn) key which is located next to the bottom left hand corner control(ctrl) button and then hit the print screen(prt sc) button which is part of the insert key...upper right hand corner of your keyboard.

awesome thanks for the tips I got it to work. Does acme have topo overlay though? I am tempted to follow wappkids lead and buy the easier to use version he has or mapcard as someone else suggested.

by easier to use version I meant mytopo.com or mapcard. I am interested in seeing how it works for him before I spend I money on the program myself.

You can do overlays with this one, but it is hard to see the aerial under the topo.

Not an overlay, but you can change the whole map to a topo.. your options are all up along the top of the map on the right.. map, satellite, topo, terrain, etc..You cant do anything with transparency like you can with google earth though..

Some times print screen is the best way to go, but the snipping tool usually works better because you can just pick what you want instead of getting all the clutter on your desk top, the browser, tool bar, etc.
