Let's say you bump a mature buck from a south facing bedding area at midday.
When the buck returns he has 2 choices
Assuming he returns while thermals are rising.
Wind to nose walking south to north but the bucks thermal blowing North also.
Or
Wind to back and thermal wind to nose. Walking north to south.
Which option does the buck do and does a buck trust thermal or wind more?
I've always thought wind but when I really think about it I'm not so sure!
Bump n dump challenge question!

Thermals are more consistent than the wind. Believe in the scenario u described if the buck returned he would circle from above using a better view and rising thermal
