Going into a new spot I've never step foot on before. Just found some conservation land open to hunting so I figured I'd go check it out tomorrow evening with a hunt. It's a Ne to ENE wind tomorrow with rain. My planned entry is marked in yellow with the yellow dots possible stand spots (lw hang on and sticks on my back). Just looking for thoughts or opinions on the property. I have no idea what the open areas are, it is called a wetland so I'm guessing marsh grasses. Blue line is property line Thanks again.

Re: New Spot Opinions
Spots look ok to me I like your bottom dot setup looks like a good spot on aerial.
Have you checked out the place far north of your top dot where 3 transition lines meet north of the road near the top part of your map.
Near the thicket?
That's the spot that really caught my eye.
Funnel northeast of your bottom dot near the right property line looks interesting. Rut spot?

Re: New Spot Opinions
Thanks for the response guys.AJB I double checked and messed up the property line. The spot you added is actually on private. There's a hill that leads up to that spot too. I'll get boots on the ground tomorrow and see what's up. Think I'll start at the bottom dot and look for fresh sign. If none(or lots of human sign) I'll head north from there.

Re: New Spot Opinions
Setup here (right on the property line) saw a big buck in the cattails to my north. He walked the transition line. Then a young 6pt gave me a 12 yard shot but he got the pass.
Red line is bigger buck and the blue line was the smaller buck. Both headed to a corn field west of me.
