Congratulations! That was a great filmed hunt! Your family's reaction reminds me of my Grandmother when I was young. Makes me smile :D

Good questions, Matt. I passed it along to Joe (the hunter in the film) and he commented that the heavyweight jacket and beanie were his defense against the mosquitos, and the hand warmer muff was his easiest option for a "fanny pack", so to speak, to keep his phone and release in so he doesn't have to dig in his pockets and risk the extra movement. Definitely not the most comfortable sweating in that heat, but beats the heck out of mosquito terrors.

Thanks for all the kind feedback, guys! Joe is off to Illinois for the next couple weeks, so hopefully he connects down there. Then it's Kansas for a week before heading to Mississippi. Joe hunts 90% public land, but this deer was the exception on a very small piece of private he has access to not far from home.

Thanks again for all the support, guys! We have three more feature films in the works, including a successful youth hunt from last weekend in Wisconsin, as well as another unique buck with massive brow tines recently killed by Chase Nation hunter, Cody Fosmoen.
