New property, limited intel, thoughts?
I just got permission to hunt this property over the summer. I put up a camera and caught a mature buck at the red dot around noon a month ago. Haven't gone back in there since. Creek is shallow and makes for great access, plus I can pretty much access this property from any side. Lots of cattail thickets, islands and points in the swampy area, I will be exploring more in the future. Supposed to have a rain front for an hour or so tomorrow evening and a ten degree drop in temp. Calling for a WNW wind. Thoughts? Suggestions?

This is a suburban area with no ag fields anywhere close by.

I like the Creek that runs between the woods and swamp. Looks like maybe an ox bow in there. I could see them staging there after coming out of the bedding in the swamp. You would have to get in there on foot to find the exact beds. I would be sitting by that Creek with an off wind or an east wind without any bed scouting or sit back and observe then move in

Might want to Check out a topo map or turn your elevations on in google earth and look for high points and elevation changes that are near the swamp area. I would suspect the beds would be in those areas.
