I have a dozen pods. And if for some reason this isn't enough, I have a logging trail that I will use a bit this year that had years worth last season.

Overgrown fields and the shoulders of the road are good places to look.

I was looking at some meadow areas today with mature thistle going to seed. I believe you could harvest thistle seeds just as milkweed if you can't find milkweed. Thistle seeds "fuzz" blows through the air identical to milkweed.
Some do. Some don't. I just might...

Ditches are great spots to find them. Along the edges of crop fields too.

Yesss.! Right now is the perfect time to pick them.
