Bed hunting Dilemma

Unread postby Boogieman1 » Wed Aug 30, 2017 10:47 am

Since being on here I have got the bed bug itch! I've known the power of being close to bedding for afew years now. By close I mean I knew the bedding area. I was out milling around today and my curiosity got the better of me, so I entered a spot exactly like Dan described and jackpot bingo. If I had my phone I would have took a pic! Primary bed worn down to roots of tree. Rubs right in front of multiple beds. Multiple exit trails all marked with old rubs all starting 20 to 40 yards from bed. I gotta say it brought a smile to my face even though I prob screwed the pooch on that spot. The problem I see about setting up close early season is the wind. It will take leaf drop to get my stink out of there. I take it that's another reason u guys like them early season marshes..... Anyway I found a near by piece of public and I'm gonna take the Beast challenge and go after a pressured buck on public ground right in his bedding! Wish me luck prob gonna need it

It's always exciting as heck when you find the eureka spot.

Good luck this season!

It's a good feeling when you walk up and see what you think you should find. Probably still be worth throwing a sit or two at it if it's dynamite bedding.
