I'm looking for advice. I'm planning an out of state hunt. Here in the south our fields are in typically in the bottoms. Bedding is along the military crest. I'm headed north to hunt and the fields seem to be on top with field edges extending to the military crest where bedding is usually found.
So, how far from the field edge is far enough? The edges would recieve more pressure and offer less cover. Do they choose an area void of a hard edge like this and drop in elevation or do they bed along the closest military crest that offers more security.
Question about bedding near fields
