Re: Let's see 130"+ 8 points
The buck I killed last year (see 2016 harvest thread) was a 136" main frame 8 (it did have a small crab claw making it a 9 but you get the idea). Not huge mass but tall tines. One G2 was 13".
He was on the decline too as we had pics of him for 3 years straight. Guessing 7or 8 yrs old minimum.

A series or ridges came together like a turkey print. Imagine the back toe and middle toe run east/west. Where the toes all come together is a massive thick bedding area, and down the right toe is anothee huge thick area. I have a stand between them for a S wind and during the rut I hunt the does hiding in there from the bucks. As they (he) circle the down wind side of the ridge, above the creek , I simply lay in wait. He came thru and I smoked him. I have anothee stand on the other side for a E wind amd shot this guy the followong year within 150 yards of the nice 8.

I would direct you to last year kill story but I was a victim of Photobucket. My avatar is last year's 8 that hit around 130.
I wouldn't be surprised if the buck you have on cam scores 130s

Here's one that grossed a shade over 160 with a little over 40 inches of mass measurements. for certain 6 years old but possibly 7. My 2016 bowkill, lots of history with this one. I love BIG 8's probably more than any other type of buck, maybe because of their rarity and I will likely never get an oppurtunity at one like this again.

You think wicked? I kinda hoped but no one
in my small circle thinks he will gross 130". They think the believe that once the velvet is gone he looks much skinnier.
he is still a pretty buck I'd tag him

I agree with boogieman. Shoot what makes you happy. They're both great bucks. Who cares about scores on them. They both would probably make pope and neither are going to break any world records. Enjoy the hunt for them. Alot of guys would be happy just to have a chance at one of those

I think the buck in the pics you posted is a 3yr old between 115-120 inches.

If you kill the best buck in the area, isn't it still the best buck in the area?
Unless I travel I will probably never, ever, in my life see a deer of that caliber in my local woods
