Mario the philosopher! Good stuff, wish we had a hint of cool breeze down here in Louisiana, Praying for more than one freeze this year. Last season was hot one...

Re: The hunt
Great stuff Mario. Was out glassing with my brother in law Saturday evening and could swear the smell of autumn was in the air. Just wishful thinking, but still. The mornings have been a little cooler and even though October is still 6 weeks out, starting to really get amped up for hunting.

Re: The hunt
Ahh ya time is getting close. Sept. 2 KY opening weekend is just a couple of weeks away. But also coming is the busy work scedule that keeps me from the hunting in the best time of the year. Harvest is near, but im planning on a few sneak in hunts to tide me over till November! Good luck to all this year!!
Bucks,ducks, turkeys,and bass!

Re: The hunt
Well said Mario! The shortening of day light hours and intermittent cooler temperatures Insures us that the season is near!

Re: The hunt
Thanks for these thoughts Mario! I've been reading about this stuff on the Beast, posting a few thoughts, and asking a few questions here and there since January (not to mention all the podcasts and youtube vid's). And now, our GA bow opener is ONE WEEK from tomorrow!! I'm so ready for it to be here, yet at the same time I don't feel like I'm ready....much to do....much undone....but in the timeless words of possibly the best child's game ever, "Ready or not, here I come!!!"
