November 7th...far NW Wisconsin, big woods, public land, doe bedding 80yards to my north and 80 yards to my south, 10AM, buck slowly following in the scent stream of an estrus doe, 12 yard shot, buck died 35 yards from shot.

Thanks guys! The bow is a Big River bow made by John McDonald out of Wisconsin Rapids. This is the 5th R/D longbow I have owned (from 5 different bow makers)and it is definately the best shooter of them all. 66" long, 47# at 28"

I got a nice doe down about 10 days after my buck kill! Pretty exciting hunt. The shot was maybe six yards quartering away.

Figured i'd share with you guys

I posted in the live from the field thread, but forgot to in here. Doe I took last week at 15 yards. She ran about 100 and piled up.
