Sink Holes
Has anyone dropped milk weed while hunting in a sink hole? I'm curious whether these terrain features offer deer any wind advantage or disadvantage.

Re: Sink Holes
Not sure what you mean by "sink hole"? But if your talking a round hole that drops in elevation from flat ground, it would be a swiling mess with air currents going everywhere. If the terrain is right for bedding it could be a great spot.

Re: Sink Holes
Yes sir. It's where the surface layer has collapsed due to water erosion in the limestone bedrock beneath. They are a prominent terrain feature in my neck of the woods. Some are surrounded by ag fields and work the same as small woodlots. The sinkholes that are surrounded by timber are harder to figure out.
Thanks for the advice. If deer seek out swirling winds, then I might need to give the timber sinkholes a closer look.
