My view for the day.

Lots of sign and last yr when i scouted this i kicked about a dozen deer out. Its been really quiet so far though with no deer sighted. It was 18 degrees this morning. Still windy out but its warming up a bit now.

My New Hampshire buck from yesterday morning. Shot at 10:35am and finally had him out by 4 pm thanks to some dragging help from Dagger! Thanks again!

Just got busted (i think) by a buck. Heard some splashing and ice cracking straight downwind. Then he actually ran past me into the bedding area but made a wide loop out into the alders. Could only see bits of a rack and a body.

We found my kids doe. The yotes got to her a little but not that bad. He happy and so is dad! Now we’re shooting bucks!

My buddies brother only had 3 days to hunt. He spent the entire first day helping me get my first mule deer buck. I was glad to help him drag this guy out of a river bottom this morning.

Got them drug out. Shot the doe at 1:20 and the buck at 1:45.

Buck is for sure a 2.5. Doe might be a 1.5 or a 2.5.

Good eats right here! Pictures and story should come when I get home Thursday
