Re: sittin
I've got the stock seat on my LW and it's still in good enough shape. I've never tried the hunt comfort seat, kind of afraid if I do I will buy one
If I had to replace the cushion I would probably zip tie a foam cushion.

Re: sittin
Hunt Comfort for me. I have back issues so it was money very well spent for me. Your right Neil if you try one you will never go back to the stock seat.

Re: sittin
I never liked the stock LW seat. I think my but must be too bony or something cause it was the least comfortable stand seat I used since I upgraded from nailing 2x4s to trees to sit/stand upon when I was a kid. Was at the WI Deer & Turkey show a few years back and picked up a XOP seat. Big difference IMO

Re: sittin
The xop air raid has a bit thicker stick seat than others, but it also compresses quite a bit

Re: sittin
I glued two foam pads together and zip tied them to stand. Works well. Just can't stack the sticks on top of the stand like some do. Laying them sideways works much better.

Re: sittin
Since I don't use them, I don't know how big the seats are on those stands. However, for a couple of decades I hunted waterfowl out of Barnegat Bay sneak box, a low profile boat in which you sit on the floor facing the engine. After a couple of years of sitting on boat cushions and getting a sore but we came up with a comfortable solution. A lawn tractor inner tube under inflated, it gives you support where you need it and you can sit all day without having to stand up and give your but a break.

Re: sittin
I have only used my Lone Wolf for one full season now. I had no issues with the seat that was on the stand. I actually hate to sit down and prefer to stand most of the time while on stand. Most of my hunts are the first few hours of the morning and the last few hours in the evening. So I usually am standing whenever I feel it is time for the deer to be active.

Re: sittin
Spoil yourself. Get a hunt comfort. The outback should fit that stand.

Re: sittin
On some of my stands I have the stock seat, others no seat at all... I don't get the whole comfort thing. I see very little difference. The main difference being bare metal in sub zero is cold on my rear.
