5c public land PA hunting / doe permits
any comments on 5c public land PA hunting / doe permits?
I am attempting to get a 5C doe tag but I have never hunted down there.
Where are some good areas to get does?

yes I tried going on a PA hunting forum but I could not get the forum system to work, I noticed a couple of others reported some problems too.
any WMU 5 C PA deer hunters out there?

Keep in in mind that this is in southeastern PA, which is the most populated region in the state, so lots of hunters. 5C public gets POUNDED, particularly State Game Lands. I have heard Blue Marsh can be good but that's actually 5B I think. Look beyond State Game Lands to other public would be my suggestion.
For sure some big bucks come out of 5C every year and if I'm not mistaken it has the highest buck harvest in the state. However, most of those are coming from private land.

Yeah I looked around some public land in 5 C that is not game lands and I found plenty of deer sign and unfortunately florescent pink marker tape exactly where I located buck beds....darn!
