WHAT IF.....

What if you could only hunt one county in any state for deer with a bow, what would it be? It has to be public land, And for fun, pretend you could hunt as much as you want and didnt have to work!

Have to be out west somewhere with multiple game species an 100,000's of acres. Tags would be free I assume since we don't have to work? :)

If we're talking fantasy, I'm going with Milwaukee county Wisconsin. County lands public land right. ;)

For the rest of my life?
For one season?

I wanna make sure I pick the right fantasy county. :D

If it's for one season, I'd pick a county that's hot right now.

If it's for the rest of my life, I'd pick a county that was heading in the right direction...

Houston County Mn if they change their season structure. Otherwise... I'd pick where I hunt now without other people pressuring it. Sauk County, WI. The buck I was after this year was shot on Nov. 5th, he officially scored 205 3/8 gross and netted 193 nt with 21 points. I passed him as a 3.5 year old. 30 trail cam pics of him, couple hours of summer footage.

I found his right side broken off last year and I'm friends with the guy that killed him. He was nice enough to call me as Dubs (the buck) was falling over lol. Kinda funny... he had a fresh 2 Blade Rage stuck in his skull. He is a prime example of how the rut gets giant deer killed every year...they sat the stand almost every day the previous week and all it took was a young doe to bring him by.

I would also pick Allamakee, Ia. I grew up there and got back for a bow hunt in 2009. Can't wait until 2012 when I can hunt it again

If there was no pressure like they have now It would be Camp Ripley (Morrison county) In Minnesota. Some where close to the twin cities would be another choice In Mn for me as well.

I'd have to say Allamakee County. I'm sure there are better counties though, I just don't know about them yet.
