HECS suit?
Anyone ever hear of this technology? Supposedly blocks electro magnetic pulse... not sure if it's a gimmick or not. I know I've been busted by animals that were close, but that could just be scent pool. What's your thoughts on it? Anyone ever use it? Shop my brother goes to in Wisconsin has them. Owner said since he sold a set to a customer the guy has killed 3 boons. Never one before. Owner of the shop is going to use one this year. Might fall in the category of if you need new camo ...sure why not. If you don't, why bother... and go.

Let me tell you a story about a man who bought cow pee for pennies per gallons, he sold it for dollars an ounce had hunters pooring it out on the ground and demand for more! Beware of the wolf... Now if you just feel like throwing money away let me give you my address.

Re: HECS suit?
I have seen the infomercials. They make a good sounding case for the technology, but so do scentblocker and scentlok. Im sure it's just another scam. I have never worn a hecs suit and most of my hunting atire is made up of old work pants, army surplus clothing, and whatever I get for decent camo from santa. I still have the occasional chickadee land on my foot while sitting still on the ground and mice walk right over me. I have also had turkeys come in from behind me and walk by close enough to touch a couple of times, and have snuck up extremely close to deer. I don't believe that it's a guys electromagnetic field that gets him busted, it's moving, fidgeting, coughing, sneezing, farting, and scent blowing towards an animal that you want to watch out for.

I remember briefly seeing the infomercial for about 2 minutes and immediately changing the station. Maybe someday after I perfect all of my other weaknesses in deer hunting I'll worry about electromagnetic pulse. Fred Bear wore a red flannel and did just fine.

Well said. When i list out all the reasons i didnt kill a buck on my most recent hunt. My electromagnetic field is extremely far down on the list of reasons why.

Re: HECS suit?
I believe electromagnetism plays more of a role in our lives than we realize. It's the main thing my docs use to evaluate what Lyme "bugs" are affecting me the most currently and what meds will kill them off. Our nerves and those of animals use a form of electricity.
My sister-in-law's grampa has been doing some interesting stuff with frequencies. Closely related to electromagnetism. He has built devices similar to metal detectors. That he uses on birds and other animals. Each species has it's own frequency. And each individual of a species has it's own even more defined frequency. I've seen it work with my own 2 eyes. No BS.
That said. I'm not sure about how much or if it's strong enough for an animal to pick up on it. I've had my fair share of wild critters within 5 yards or closer. Without any special electromagnetic suit. They had no clue I was there. Until they smelled me. Or saw the odd shape that looked out of place.
If someone gave me one I'd test it out, but I ain't gonna waste my own money on it!!!!! But then how would you really know why you didn't get busted!!!!

It prevents aliens and deer from picking up electromagnetic signals from my brain. Don't want them reading my mind.

Re: HECS suit?
Lol bet it works as good as scent lok. Sadly some. desprite hunters will blow money on it.
Products dont make a good hunter.
If we want to keep the undead alien deer from reading our minds we can use Armadillo helmets.

Aliens are real. Needing a hecs suit, probably not so much.

My Lyme doc was trying to push this concept on me a year or two ago. He was very excited about buying one when they hit the market

Re: HECS suit?
Pretty much what I figured. Now I can tell my brother to save his cash. I would consider trying it if I had no camouflage and needed new stuff. However, I have my predator camo and that has worked just fine. Thanks everyone.

Dont worry at some point, modern day young hunters have all fallen for this crap. I did, I admit it.
