The hard thing is; those who don’t have the balance aren’t the kind to grab it from a podcast. Not being insulting, just stating the obvious as I was one of them. Worked, played and hunted too much. I lost my wife for a few years but we made it work in the end and in the process both changed who we are to be better people (to ourselves and one another). The irony is that of those of wired to be on the clock or in the woods all the time is that we don’t meet our personal expectations often..if ever. Best marriage I’ve ever had AND did I mention I’ve killed my best buck twice since? Balance is the key to work, life, hunting as a whole as much as it is each part.
