Nice Ohio 11 point!

One of the guys that works on the farm where I hunt in Southern Ohio got this nice 11 pointer on Saturday during our muzzleloader season. Said he was walking in across a field and when he got along side of the woods, he looked to his left & there was the buck facing away at a nice quartering angle, inside 20 yards, bent down feeding on acorns! He said he about crapped when he saw the rack & it was all he could do to snap his muzzy up & let loose on his shoulder! The rack is a real symetric 10 with a big old kicker point coming off the base of the left beam. I didn't get a shot all weekend & only saw deer before and after legal hours and I had turkeys terrorizing me all weekend.. they were everywhere I went! LOL!!!

Yes, Steve had one of the real big bucks on the farm almost run him over on Saturday morning & it only had half a rack. It was running with a decent 8 point & a bunch of does that got spooked into Steve from the back end of one big woods that the neighbor poaches into. Steve was going to shoot the 8 but it came by him at 10 feet away in heavy cover And he couldn't even find a shot in his scope that he had cranked up to 9 power when he was looking at something further away..
