Found the ultimate bed
So me and Divergent were heading to scout and listening to Dan's podcast on Big Buck Registry talking about locations right off the road. Well we found this awesome bed.
Looks very secure. We caught two nice ones in the bed (pic below). They had the wind at their back and a good obstacle on the upwind side. Plus it's an east southeast facing bed which is gonna be the predominant wind and catch the morning sun. I feel good about this spot for next year.

If you were French you would think the meat tastes good too
I do like to pay attention to what livestock are doing in hunting season. If they are trying to get out of the weather, deer are probably sheltering too. If they are up spread out feeding a lot deer are probably up and moving too. There is a correlation.

Good spot for a tree stand in that big oak on the other side of the bed. Good access you can use the cars in the driveway has a screen. Come in from the shed because it's an off wind they won't smell you

Hahaha...I have heard it tastes good just a little sweeter. Good point on the other animals too.

Lol yeah, definitely some good trees to use there. Also the AC sound will help mask my noise

You mentioned that deer's metabolism requires them to eat about every two hours during the day. I'm a believer. I raise sheep and see it everyday. They're not nocturnal, but they do bed, eat, bed, eat, during the day.

You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Well I did an observation drive by on the bed and they weren't there but it was a south wind so I'm pretty sure that's why
