A Season to Remember | Cinematic Documentary Film

Billy Katsiagannis (aka Billy Kats) is a friend of mine who lost his father to heart failure. The pair were inseparable, more like best friends than anything else. As a tribute to his father, Billy dedicated his season in the woods and on the water to his late father, George, in this cinematic documentary film, A Season To Remember. I had the compliment of being asked to write an article to help Billy tell his story, his fathers story, and I was obliged to do so. I think the greater majority of Beast members here can appreciate the hunts the unfold during the film, including a black bear hunt on foot in British Columbia, a wilderness fly-in adventure to remote Ontario's Confusion Lake for muskies, as well as one of the most memorable whitetail hunts I've seen unfold onscreen that took place in some Illinois hardwoods.
