We have some autumn olive bushes on our property and the deer feed and bed on them, also provides good ground cover. I know they are invasive, but does anybody know the best method for replanting them in different areas? Do you need the whole root system? Can you stick cuttings in the soil? Thanks alot guys!

Re: Replanting Autumn Olive
I have transplanted many and they do well .Take a tile spade and cut a root ball around young ones. Best to do it before Green up. Usually late march to mid April here in southern mi. Those things will grow anywhere even in the shade.
