Late Season Push success!

We have had a great last couple of days. Would've made any gun party proud. :D Bow Drives are an excellent way to fill the freezer if done correctly. We had a 3 deer day a couple days ago. It could've been more but we ran out of tags for the day.

We take care of the friends and family who want there deer processed at the locker earlier in the year. Now is our time to put our game in the deep freeze......this has always been the time of the year where I like to put venny in freezer for myself. Aging is prime and weather is perfect for taking your time in the processing area. Last day is tomorrow! Been a great year!

That is really awesome DOR. Love the traditional kills. I think the smallest deer harvests with a recurve trump the biggest buck kills with all the new high speed compounds and crossbows. That is really awesome. Can you lay out your tactics a little bit? Is this basically a deer drive but at slower speed so the deer come by slow and in range or whats the secret?

That's really cool DOR!! Now that is what I call a fun way to fill up the freezer! Congrats! 8-)
Like your snow camo. What kind do you have? I have been trying to find some good snow camo and everything I find has very noisy fabric or is built very cheaply. The only place I haven't checked is Cabela's.

Very cool... I found that you have more success (individually)with the small groups of 3 or 4 guys that really know what they are doing. Rather than large groups. Sucks we don't have the deer here to do pushes like that anymore. Looks like a blast.
Not speaking for Dor, but for me it seemed more effective to put the shooters back farther so the deer have time to slow down.

That picture should be the new "GIVE PEACE A CHANCE" poster... You got a trad guy, a compound guy, and a crossbow guy all successful working together. That might be a 1st.
