I think for the most part, mainstream hunting shows don't do a great job at telling the story, and how they actually were able to shoot a buck. The guys at MWW are about as good as it gets. Been following Winke for as long as I can remember. He's really good stuff, I've learned a ton from him. The public land hunts they've doing recently I think are great, and show what you can do when you work hard and employ some beast tactics!

I completely agree... most mainstream hunting shows have to try and sell products for the sponsors, so most of time is spent talking about that... tactics are often never touched on, which is why I love this site. MWW does a good job of explaining tactics.... Don't sell me a product, teach me how you killed that 170" stud.

I guarantee they are still selling product or you wouldn't see product logos in the upper left hand corner of all videos or the close up shots of products. However, it's done in a tasteful manner vs the norm NASCAR like ram it down your throat advertising.

Congrats on stud Aaron! you put a good shot on him too! textbook rut travel corridor near bedding! not that it matters, but have you taped him yet?

Thanks! I just got him back from the taxidermist. Haven't taped him. I probably won't score him to be honest.

It doesn't really even matter Aaron. He's a brute and that's all that matters!

Wow I didn't realize the deer was that big in the blog on MWW. That pic makes him look bigger. Good job dude.
