I gotta ask....why only 2 arrows?!?! I used to only carry 3...I liked the quiver..but I quickly learned a couple more arrows might be nice to have..or even needed...I'm upto 5 now and honestly thinking about going to a 7. Lol. Usually not needed...but, when they are, they are. Say a flock of turkeys comes...you whiff a shot.. coyote comes and you smoke him...turkeys come back and you drill one..a big buck comes...you whiff the first shot...dumbie stands there...you send another and spine him...send another and it's not great... finally another hits the mark..that's 7....and in the fall in PA not even out of the question lol...
I carry 5 now after I've emptied my 3 arrow quiver a couple times... and a couple more arrows in the truck as well as blades and extra heads.
Did you get a fall turkey too?? I may have missed that...you had a good archery season! Congrats!

LOL well I had 4, but shot this doe, and squirrel, and had the one deer that got away. The squirrel arrow was never recovoved, and the doe I killed, the tip smashed a big rock after it went into the ground.
I didn't want to buy a 3 pack of 40 dollar broadheads.
LOL I am cheap. Just look at the pink release I bought to save money.

Re: First buck in 4 years
I am going to by replacement blades and fix them up. Typically I am a 1 and done broadhead guy but at 40.00 for 3. I want to get as much as I can out of them.
I contemplated switching to Swacker broadheads after watching their tests, but Rage has not failed me. I have my bow set up for them. I love the entrance holes I get with rage, as compared to swacker. But I think the Swacker has a really nice design. I think I will get the replacement blades for next year. I am going to double check all of my arrows.
BUT on a side note, I wanted to try traditional archery, my brother in law gave me his old Onieda Eagle boy. I think I am going to get the string replaced on it, and try and shoot it traditionally with no sights and such. It is like a highbred compound/recurve. If I give that bow a try it will be heavy cut on contact blades. I love my PSE and don't ever plan to switch, especially after getting the cams, strings, and cables upgraded this year to 2016 models.

Here are a few pics of the euro mount I did on him. Really happy with how it turned out.

Thanks I always like saving the whole jaw. It is actually the easiest thing to clean in the whole process. LOL
