Yea, ditto that.. we have a crap ton of land.. 7 Million Acres of public, but 700,000 hunters.. so 1 per every 10 acres. :) A couple/few years back (recently) bow harvests exceeded gun harvests for the first time ever.. think it's like 55-60% bow kills at this point.

When I told my lifelong hunter uncle and his buddy that I passed on a 6 pt they looked at me like I was frickin' CRAZY.. but they are expanding the APR program this year.. from 13 counties to 20+ for certain license types.

I think MI deer herd is 1.4-1.6M

We have 55-60k here in MD. Not sure where they're hiding, but there's nobody in the woods down here in Southern MD until gun season
