Light-weight backpacks

Unread postby mparsley » Thu Nov 03, 2016 7:35 am

What backpack are ya'll using or suggest for hunting public ground and packing in a ways. I hunted this past weekend and did not pack much in, other than my Lone Wolf and backpack, but on the way back out it felt like the Bataan Death March.

I think I may have made a mistake on my pack and it is incredibly heavy. I have to lighten the load.

I use a badlands monster fanny pack and like it a lot. I usually take my extra clothes and bungee then to my climber on the way in.

I'm getting this one next week. The plan is to put my saddle inside and strap my short sticks on top. I'll do a post when it comes in.

I use a tenzig tz 2220, fits what is needed but maybe a little to much. The size down would do just fine. I also use mine for scouting and prepping and seems to hold its purpose there much better
