Lone wolf seat

Unread postby mauser06 » Mon Oct 24, 2016 12:12 am

This is my lone wolf...

Not sure how old..I bought it used for a pretty good deal...sticks, stealth strips, stick talons, new bolts and washers the entire way around all still cost me less than a new one..(I painted it because I hate the plain color of stands..)

I love it... except for the seat...the seat itself just seems a bit small..and I'm not a huge guy...5-10 210lbs.

I see that lone wolf sells a seat kit with a new metal section..

Would that be better than what is on mine?? It's just not comfortable to sit on..and the foam pad isn't really the root issue I don't think...

I think if the metal seat was a little bigger and I got a good pad (probably hunt comfort unless you guys recommend something else) I'd be 1000% happy...

Just measured it...14" wide and 8" from the tree forward...

Any ideas??

If you buy an xop seat for it, it comes with a cushion. There cushion is pretty thick and comfortable. It's $50 for the kit. Not sure how much LW is charging for theirs or if it comes with the cushion. I bet someone would be willing to trade seats with you if you don't want to spend the $50. Maybe somebody looking to shave a little weight.
