A combination of both play the role in why I bowhunt. Shooting a doe is not my cup of coffee.

Re: What Do You Hunt For?
I hunt for more than meat and the chance of bagging a trophy buck. I hunt for the enjoyment.
I assume the same way someone would go play golf 3 days a week. Bowhunting deer for me is an addicting hobby and I cannot think of anything on this planet I would rather be doing. Yeah the meat is a bonus and anything I kill on public land is a trophy to me for all the hard work scouting & preparing for the hunt.

LMAO!!!!!
Lots of great honest answers. In reality hunting is just a good excuse to get out in the woods.

Re: What Do You Hunt For?
Both, but WAY stronger lean to meat. I hold out for 3.5 or older bucks, and take does. We can take up to 3 does a day every day of the season. I don't know what I'd do in the situation of some of you guys that only get to take one or two deer a year. Last fall I put 6 in my freezer and shared two more with family. Add to that 4 wild turkeys, several doves, squirrels, rabbits, and 30+ pounds of fish this summer lol. I'm definitely a MeatEater.
