That looks pretty cool to me. I've been kicking around a similar more horizontal version in my mind for years!!! Kinda like a 1 wheeled travois that attached to my pack. Even had the brake idea too.

This looks better.

I checked out the website. No store or price yet.

I'm just not so sure about it tipping and being strapped in. I feel like your back could get twisted with it.

Actually you were the 1st person to pop into my head that could use this. If you go ahead and cut the deer up as if you were going to just backpack it out. That would condense things enough to keep it from being awkward.

One advantage I see with this is the ability to keep the weight down lower.

Maybe it looks better than it is. But with the experience I've had with both backpacking meat out and using carts. This just looks like it would work great.

Still hard work. But better, easier.

Seems to have potential. I hauled my Iowa buck out 1.5 miles a couple years ago with a "deer sled" it was garbage.

I like the looks of it, doubt it would work in the muck.

I would want to try it out before I bought it.

Yeah a sled is still the way to go in marshes and swamps. But once you get to hard ground. Just hook up and go.

I think I have a winter project on my hands. Maybe we can all get involved and make one that suits the specific needs of a hunter!!!!

I believe it would be better with a wider and taller wheel.

Yeah with my idea I was going to use an old 3-wheeler rim, brake and tire. And fill the tire with foam. I had a few friends and heard plenty of other horror stories of guys stranded 4-wheelers. Caused by punctured tires, mainly from prickly pear cactus. But some from other things.

I have had an idea somewhat like this for years. My idea was having conduit formed around your shoulders and then run down half your chest and then back up to hold onto. Not sure about the backpack frame holding the weight. I sure know I can't drag deer out like I did last year, that took years off my life

I think my RackPacker deer cart would work just as well as this.

I just got my pack frame and loaded it up with 80 lbs. Surprised how manageable the weight was on my back. A quality pack frame is a great option to pack a deer out and glad I now have that option available.

With a combination of both I think I can now manage any situation on my own.

When I saw it I was also worried about the tipping potential, you put enough weight on there and it tips, you are going with it  I think a beefier tire would definitely make it a possibility though.
