Found a good solunar table

Thought I would share this website with everyone. It allows you to put in your zip code and you can choose the month and it shows you sun rise/set and solunar chart

I've been using this one for a few years. Works well, and i think you can export to Excel if you want a printed calendar for the season. I pretty much just use the OH/UF info though.

based off that chart, which is overhead and underfoot? I've never read these before.

I use this one. I don't really mess with the score but more a quick reference for conditions.

Moon transit- is overhead.
Underfoot is usually around 12 1/2 hours later.

I have to chirp in here. Moon hunting is new to me. From what I read on previous posts is that the best hunting occurs when the moon is overhead or underfoot within an hour of sunrise/sunset??? And all the better when there is a 1/4 or 3/4 moon???

That is not what this chart shows, some of the best days they indicate for hunting there is a large gap between the overhead/underfoot times and sunrise/sunset.

For example, I use my zipcode and it tells me one of the seasons best days to hunt in November would be 11/29. The sunrise/set times are 7:19 and 16:56, respectively. The overhead/underfoot times are 12:24 and 00:00, respectively. 11/29 is also a new moon.

Where did I go wrong?

I didn't even pay attention to what days it says will be best. Just looked at the sunrise and set and found what mornings and evenings have the moon overhead or underfoot within an hour and marked them down

thanks, jeff. I didn't know if anyone was paying attention to the calendar recommendations or not. it is interesting how their forecast differs greatly from what most deer hunters observe with the overhead/underfoot times

Looks like a good solunar table.

I have been using this app and it provides pretty much all the same info. If you have an iPhone I highly recommend.
