I had that happen one year when setting up a cam near one of my best marsh spots. Got a bunch of huge bucks on cam and later in the season the cam was stolen. After that three different guys were crowding the area and hunting the heck out of it. I knew it wasn't a coincidence and one or all of them were responsible for stealing my cam but couldn't prove it. That turned me off on cams for a good number of years. Most of all I learned a lesson to never mount one right where I plan to hunt.

Most of my coverts will go one full season + on cheap Lowes Utilitech batteries. Most of my Moultries will make it a full season also.

I'm running 4 at the moment. Hope to have more going by season opener.

Zero - I'm sure they would help, but I don't want to know everything that is in the woods.

I've got three out, I'll probably add to the collection next season.

I have 5 out right now, will add 2 more when I go up there again.

Just wanting to know the travel patterns for now.

Once I figure the travel routes, then I will name the deer and take inventory.

7-8 for me...about half I set in May/June and pickup after the season ends. These are in areas I'm looking to hunt next year. The other half I run on field edges/easy access areas and check every week or two.

If you put them out in early spring it can be tough to find them after the green up. Took me forever to find one and I knew where it was at.
