Thermal Question

All input on stand and logistics is welcomed. Scouted a new piece of public today. Found multiple beds on the point circled in orange. Blue line is deer trail coming out of the beds. Red line is my access and red dot is my tree. i plan on hunting this with a south east wind. Was wondering what you guys thought would happen with the thermals here. The water behind me looks like a stream on the toppo map but its more like a stagnant pond. Having this body of water and the hill close together what do you think would happen with the thermals on an afternoon hunt? Im hoping and thinking with this type of water my scent will be sucked towards the water and pushed along with the falling thermals off the hill. Or will they fight each other and put my scent onto the deer trail?
