tim wrote:well i got 1 a little bigger than that on my wall from archery and i wouldn't sell it for 50k. so id take another one that big before the money. with almost 30 years of hunting cost with land and everything ive spent money on 50k cant touch the cost lol.i was told once it becomes about money its no longer fun, i happen to agree. can always make more money. but you all know how many hours in the stand it takes to just lay eyes on one that big.

I agree, Ive got one on the wall and it would take more than 50k to part with him. 50k in the scheme of life really isn't that much. I'll take Muddy's 175" 8 point any day!

My thought exactly. Spent my life trying to kill a 175"er. Making the money is easy in comparison. I don't like free money anyway.

I would much rather the buck than the money. I'd prolly take the money begrudgingly out of responsibility... but if my kids were grown or house paid off I'd take the buck in a heartbeat!!!

I'd have to think hard about that one though lol

The selfish side of me says the buck. But the money is what I'd take as it would benefit my family more.

No taxes. The poll is a straight 50 grand the way I take it. Lol. I do see the point that 50 g's is easier to come by than a huge buck........my decision is based on where I am in my life and my responsibilies. Can't I just choose both. Lol.
