SD Black Hills deer hunt info ?

Years ago me and my dad would go to the Black Hills on a week long deer hunt.They were some of my most memorable deer hunts. It,s been so long since I,m been there that was wondering if it,s still as easy as it use to be to buy an over -the-counter tag.We would just pull into town lay down $ 100 and we were hunting. I heard it,s a little harder to get a tag nowadays .

Are you talking about archery or gun?
I haven't hunted out there for a few years but back then you were guaranteed an archery tag. Not sure about gun hunting though.
