Early season hill country hunts
I mainly hunt swamps and farm land with the majority of my swamp hunting in the early season. This year I will be traveling out of state in both early and rut to get in some hill country hunts. I have a good idea on how to hunt the rut in hill country but the early season is tough anywhere especially in terrain I'm not familiar with. I'm counting on the BEAST to lay down some solid early season strategy. If I know where a bed is at, how to approach? Through a cut? Opposite side of Leewerd? Bottom of the point? I'm mainly guessing bedding based off topopgraphy and running and gunning. Any help would be much appreciated!

I would look for situations where the bucks leave bedding rising or staying at same elevation. If your going in just off maps, I would walk the tops with a quartering wind looking for trails exiting suspected bedding.
