Next state record

I think it would be cool if a member of this site killed a state record buck using beast style tactics. I know the odds are low but, just a thought.

Yes it would the record non-typical here in Florida is a 206" 26 beast. The largest typical is 168 1/8". It would be awesome for one the Florida beasts to tag a bigger one.

We had a poll on this awhile back. A majority said if they killed a record they would not enter it.

Easy to say until you are actually in that position. ;)

I think 99.9% of hunters on this site will never see a state record. Think about how rare that is and the odds. Most of the mid west states it would have to be over 200" typical

Depends if your talking state record including gun or just bow. Wisconsin's State bow record is "only" in the high 180's I believe.

Still no slouch but more doable.

Aaahhh!! We can all still dream!! :whistle: :mrgreen:
