A 15" strip of bicycle inner tube works great to attach a saw handle to a stick. You just stretch the tube tight as you are wrapping and tuck the end between the stick and saw. The stretched rubber grips super tight so the saw does not move at all while cutting

Was in the woods Sunday...had an extra blade but no pipe clamp. I was in a hurry so grabbed a role of .99 electrical tape I had at the house. Worked awesome. Taped my saw to a stick. Electrical is not nearly as sticky as duck tape. Left no residual on the handle. Really worked well.

Pole saws are great...but not when scouting/prepping sets. It was a 2.25 walk by road just to get back to my truck. Not the kind of thing where you want to me lugging a big pole saw around.
