so i understand that deer like to bed on points with the wind coming over their backs, but what if the beds are on the sides of the points? for example if the yellow dot was a bed would the yellow arrow be the wind required for them to use it?
wind based bedding question

if you don't want him to bed there, throw a log or obstacle in the bed, maybe he will relocate towards the end of the point, or just off the point which will make him easier to hunt

Well the issue is that one side of the point is thick but the other side and the end of the point is more open

i would set up on top of the draw, if he is bedded there with the wind coming over the top, he will most likely leave and head toward the draw ( cursing in a thermal tunnel).
