is it in an area that you can't travel to and go for a walk that your asking? If you can get out there and scout the area you'll probably have a better understanding of where to place a stand

Getting out and scouting is going to be the most beneficial thing to do, but analyzing the maps first can help. I am by no means an expert but feel free to PM it to me. I enjoy picking apart different maps, I can at least give you my opinion.

Post it in Scouting Section --> try and include ariel and topo. Most peep will jump in and make suggestions. Some will actually mark it. Be sure to use paint and Black Out specific names, roads, lakes, ect... If you are lucky, Dan might skim by your thread and mark it. Otherwise, if its an area you are hardcore about and plan on hunting it most iof the time --> Dan will break it down completely for you for $100 I think... Also, mark anything on the map that you know is there from experience or info you have - houses, known stands, ect...
