TC Video of a buck bedding

I caught this 3 yr old bedding in this spot 2 times this last cam pull. This video is the first time he bedded here on 1/28 from 10:49 until 1. This is 8 mins of videos compressed down for uploading purpose.

He bedded here on a West wind first time with wind quartering over his back. The second time with a N wind & he bedded with wind in his face. The second time he bedded in the afternoon & only for an hr. I also had a doe on cam bedding in this spot. Other than those deer I had numerous other deer feeding, traveling, & chasing thru this spot. It's a pretty high deer traffic area over looked by people because it's only 80 yds off the blacktop road & it's a small little thicket on a small finger ridge.

Cool video. Did you know that he was bedding and set up the camera to catch him in his bed or put the camera there just based on the heavy traffic in the spot?

It is amazing how long he stands in one spot for just smelling and looking. Makes me realize that I move way too fast in the woods and it is no wonder that deer know it is us coming because what else just walks through the woods.

No this cam is just monitoring the area. I've had one in there off & on since last April. No well used beds within 50-60 yds of this cam. I can slip in from the rd to check the cam right on the edge of the thicket.

I haven't located anything, but also haven't looked as he just showed up on this last cam pull. He has a pretty big cut on his back right between the front shoulder blades. It should end up a scare that will make him noticeable even without horns. I'll try to keep track of him with the cams.
