Re: What apps do you use for hunting?
I bought onxmaps for my smartphone for Ohio and Michigan. Shows all the public land and gives the private landowners addresses and how many acres they own. Thats the reason I got it. You can use has a GPS but it doesn't work well for me in the woods. You can change maps on it also from aerial to topo or hybrid which I find helpful

I've had a bunch of different apps. The one I use the most is antler insanity.

Re: What apps do you use for hunting?
Scoutlook Hunting is easily my favorite. Use all the time to log stands and check weather for predicted wind directions. Wind markers with stand positions on aerials is excellent for planning hunts.
Antler Insanity. Mostly use for quickly texting my stand coordinates to my wife in case of an emergency.

Scoutlook and Trimble GPS Hunt. I've been debating getting the onxmaps though.

Re: What apps do you use for hunting?
For navigation and scouting/property mark-ups I occasionally use Google earth but my go-to app is Gaia GPS. For wind and weather I use Antler insanity or HuntStand. When hunting with friends and family we use Life360 to know where everyone in the group is located. Finally, and most importantly, I have saved Hunting Beast Mobile as an icon on my phone's homescreen so I can quickly access this forum!
Yes, I am addicted to bowhunting.
No, I don't need help.
I just need more arrows.

Re: What apps do you use for hunting?
You guys every worry about logging stand locations in these apps. I do it but always worry about who may have access to view my info. In the wrong hands somebody could be mining a whole lot of great info from us.
Maybe I'm just paranoid.

Go where none other dare to go, and there you'll find success.
