Black Powder Loads

Just got a new CVA Optima Nitride and with plenty of time to tinker I will be trying to find the best load for it before November. Have any of you guys had experience with this gun and what are some loads youve been happy with. I will probably start with 100 gr of T7 under a Hornady SST. Thanks

every barrel is different and you have to play around till you get the best groups. I shoot 100 grains of pyrodex pellets and started off with 250 grain sst. I switched to 240 grain xtp and got better groups.

I have a CVA Optima as well (Bergara barrel).

I am a big fan of Blakchorn 209 with Barnes bullets, clean and consistent.

My last CVA I shot the traditional 2 pellets and a powerbelt for a while then switched bullets for better penetration. Am leaning towards the Blackhorn with this rig, a friend likes 110 gr of blackhorn in his Accura, jus curious what you like in your Optima?
