I was looking at the Johnny King Buck. Can anyone tell me about this deer? Seemed like there was controversy about it topping the previous BNC score or something. Didn't really read much as I just looked at pictures. Thanks

Re: Anyone from Wisconsin
B&C ruled that one of its G2's and G3's shared a common base instead of being individual tines. This dropped it's typical score from the 200's into the 180's. Heck of a buck no matter how you feel about the ruling.

Re: Anyone from Wisconsin
Purebowhunting pretty much summed up the facts...you can hear a LOT more opinions about it since there are a lot of Wisconsinites on here and for god knows what reason many of them want the typical record to come from WI....I sure as heck hope it never is from Iowa.
Awesome deer, tragic story about greed and big egos on all sides.

Re: Anyone from Wisconsin
I was looking at photos and it's silly they would drop a score over something like that. But I guess if you pull strings for one guy then you have to pull them for everyone.
