Latest WiredToHunt podcast.

Unread postby Mibowfreak » Sun Jan 31, 2016 3:14 am

Just finished listening to the latest WiredToHunt podcast. They were discussing different hunting forums out there on the internet and had some great comments about The Hunting Beast. They talked about how its a great group of guys, you dont find the bashing you do on other forums, tons of great information on it, and just a bunch of hardcore DIY type of guys.

People can visit this site and read as much info as they want but it still takes a level of dedication and the open mind that most people will never have for buck hunting.

The "open mind" comment is very true. Almost everyone I've talked to about hunting beds are totally opposed to it due to all the magazines and TV shows saying to stay away from beds. That's OK though, that's just less people I have to worry about screwing up potential future bed hunts ;)

That's awesome to know people see us in that light.

I would definitely have to agree with that. I love chasing mature whitetails. Most message boards I have been part of shut down in the "off season".
And I do get tired of the bashing and bickering.

I really like how eveyone gets along here. Things can get discussed w/o it being nasty like other forums. Everyone always willing to help too. MIke

I'll have to check it out. I can say from experience that you can read everything there is on this forum to educate yourself, but it doesn't matter if you can't apply it in the field. It's taken a few years of failure for me to finally start to feel like I'm making good progress towards my goals. It's a lot more work than people think, but I love it.
