Thank you guys!

Dropped him off at the taxidermist last night and he blew my mind when he aged him between 7 and 8 years old. I was guessing at least 4.5, but didn't expect that.. The neck girth was 36 inches. BTW, and even caped, was just massive. This deer really made my season :) Thanks for all the kind words.

I'm having Rich at Pine Ridge Taxidermy in Erin, WI do a full sneak mount with his head tilted left, his left ear back and right ear forward. He does some seriously awesome work - I love the vein cards in the ears and nose, too! Awesome attention to detail, so I can't wait!

Congrats on a great buck Sam! Do you have pics of the other deer that your group got in your story?
A buck will see you three times, and hear you twice, but he's only gonna smell you once.
