Starting with Mapping trophy bucks was a double edge sword, most books will pale in comparison.

I highly recommend 'how to bag the biggest buck of your life'. Even though it is focused on track hunting, it is extremely well written and offers a lot of insight on mature bucks habits from a perspective that is rare in todays whitetail woods.

How to bag the biggest buck of your life is by Larry Benoit. Great book. It's a classic read.

Another great book is Taking pressured whitetails by Bill Vale. He's taken like 30 book deer from heavily pressured Michigan. He's got a couple chapters on noon phases and covers alot of other things in a pressured environment. He seems to not be well known
